The kids weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Harrison’s House!

So since we were going to Salt Lake for our Anniversary, the kids got to stay at their Grandma & Grandpa Harrison’s house for the first time over the weekend! They were both so excited, and they ended up having a blast! We called and checked in quite a few times and you could tell they were just having the time of their lives! A few of the things I know they did was they played with those liquid bubble things you blow from a straw….I don’t know what they are called, but Mikylee & Grandpa did those & Jaycen popped them lol, and they helped Grandma rearrange the bedroom, and I guess Jaycen kept throwing things under the fireplace but he knew not to go near it to get them! Then on Sunday the kids went to church with them. Mikylee took her camera with her, so here are the pictures she got!

And Grandma had given Mikylee this headband, and this picture of the two of them at the “Mother Daughter” thing she went to with her at the church a few months ago!

Our Weekend “Staycation” & The Kids at Grandparents House!

For our 7th Anniversary we went to Salt Lake City (Just the two of us for the FIRST time ever since we’ve been Married) The Kids both went to Grandma and Grandpa Harrison’s house for the weekend (I am doing a separate post about it though, because Mikylee took her camera and got her own pictures lol) But anyways…
On Saturday we left for Salt Lake City (despite all the warnings to not travel because of the snow, we figured we’d risk it and if we have to turn around we’d turn around) well the roads weren’t bad at all! :) YAY!

The first thing we did after arriving in Salt Lake, is we went bowling at the “All Star Lane’s” Bowling Alley…it was a lot of fun! :) Here are the pictures from that!

Then we went to Chuck E Cheese’s right next to the bowling alley lol :) Yes, even though we didn’t have the kids with us! Figured it would be a good way to get something to take home to the kids, plus get a cute sketch picture :)

Then we went to lunch at Sizzler :) YUMMY! :) (No pictures from there)

Then we went to Fashion Place Mall…and looked around, until my sister called (BECCA) and we picked her up and then we went to South Town Mall so she could buy a swimsuit, then we went swimming at the hotel! Soo fun…. the pictures didn’t turn out as good as I wished…but they are okay overall!

Then after we got done swimming we cleaned up and took a few funny pictures lol…. and then we went to Dinner with Becca at Red Lobster YUMMY! YUMMY!

Then after that we dropped Becca off at her place, and then we went to the hotel for the night! (Here’s the pictures of our hotel room, Becca had came inside with me when we checked in and she helped me decorate the room with rose petals, she did the heart lol, and the room itself came with chocolate covered strawberries that the chocolate looked like tuxes, and sparkling peach grape juice, a keepsake key engraved with our names and the date of our stay, and a rose, and I put on the table my small gifts to Scott – his card and his photo book about the two of us)

Then on Sunday, we woke up, packed everything up, went shopping, said goodbye to my sister…. and came home and picked up our kiddos that we MISSED so much! And we gave Mikylee her stuff we got for her in Salt Lake! (Jaycen was SUPER tired, and so I don’t have pictures of him getting his new stuff lol)
